The awesome mysteries of God are encapsulated in the simplest of things. Take the air we breathe, for example; No one knows what it looks like. It has never been empirically seen, it can only be felt. Some scientist and philosophers often say that only what is empirical is real. Some, therefore, ridicule the idea of the existence of God, and creation. Their human logic often goes something like this, “Have you ever seen it? How do you know that God is real, or that creationism is true?” All good logical reasoning, by human standards, of course. But then, how do we explain the air we breathe? We don’t see it, but we feel it; and even though we only feel it, it still remains the most vital ingredient on which life, as we know it, is based. Taking it a step further, let’s look at love; it cannot be seen, but can it be felt? Oh, yes! Most assuredly, and the feel of it adds true meaning to the word, ‘life.’ What is seen with the eyes should therefore, not be the only criterion on which to determine whether, or not, something is real. Feeling should never be discounted. I feel God, therefore, I know He is. Just as I only “feel” the air I breath, but have no doubt that it exist, I feel God, therefore, He is.
